Motivation

Updated: Jan 16, 2022

It is no secret that nowadays being at home all day studying and doing homework is taking a toll on students' mental health. Especially with all this pandemic, we need to take extra precautions not getting involved with other people.

So what are some ways to keep yourself motivated at these times?
Here are some few ways that may help you be more active:

Set realistic goals

Write down some goals that you want to achieve and do them accordingly and slowly. It's better to make smaller, easier to achieve goals first, such as memorizing contents from 1 lesson a day or lessen it if needed. You'll be able to be more captivated and motivated once you achieve more short-term goals.

Take breaks

When you feel burnt out and unwell while doing some assignments, it's a sign to take a break. It can be counterproductive but it will importantly help with your mental health and be more productive afterwards. Taking a breather may help you be more motivated to take on the work the next day or the next few minutes/hours.

Connect with other classmates

As a fellow student myself, it feels great being able to let out my thoughts and worries with someone that can relate. It can help you stay motivated and feel refreshed through your school years.
